The checker loads your page, executes its JavaScript, and inspects the variables Google Tag Manager relies on.
Detects whether gtag('consent', …) commands exist at all — the first thing Google looks for on every page load.
Confirms a 'default' command runs before any tag — so consent is denied by default until the visitor chooses.
Verifies an 'update' command fires the moment a visitor accepts or declines — keeping signals in sync.
Checks ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization — the last two are new in V2.
Inspects each signal's value to make sure it's a valid 'granted' or 'denied' — not a typo or missing entry.
Reads the dataLayer to confirm consent runs before measurement tags — a common silent failure.
